Attn SXSW! If you are going to do one thing during the week, you might want to treat yourself to a sneak peak of Daniel Johnston’s Space Ducks, the interactive comic he ran a project for last year. Space Ducks looks amazing, and the fact that Daniel, fellow Kickstarter alum R. Stevie Moore, Built to Spill AND special guests will be participating is also amazing. Who knew we’d be so excited about Space Ducks?!?!?

who amongst you knows about my locket?
i will inform the uninformed:
maz gave it to me, i put a picture of alexander dubcek in one side and a picture of jan palach in the other. on our way to visit wenceslas square i showed it to my history/politics teacher and told her their stories, which it turned out she didn’t know in depth, so while we were there she made me stand on a bench and tell everyone on the trip the story too.
oh and after that for a while the pictures in there were of karl marx and germaine greer but the joke + nickname ‘fem/com’ started to precede me so i swapped them back.
that locket has been all over and in the sea and the pictures are still good.
I have been trying to find the music to match how I’ve been feeling for days but nothing felt “right”. And then, just now, I decided to listen to Sparklehorse. I hadn’t listened to them in over a year and when the music started Bam! Perfect. Surreal; dreamy; just what I didn’t know I was looking for.
i felt the same when i was graced with hearing sparklehorse the first time…
